Is your Apple iPod rotten?

Okay, we will not consider 'expected durability', but at least we must get the best out of a product depending on its cost. Manufacturers strongly believe that on an average an electrical appliance must last for at least five years. Take the ubiquitous iPod, which Apple is pitching with a one-year warranty and is reluctant to accept responsibilities for break down of the machine after the expiry of the date, though you can extend the hardware service coverage by shelling out few extra bucks.

David Harding, one of the disgruntled iPod customer, says, 'Once the free one-year warranty is up, without the far-too-expensive Apple Care Protection Plan, the company is just not interested.'

No, our reasoning is not based on just one case, read the whole article published by Guardian, and truth will be spilled in front of you in the form of more horrific stories narrated by iPod customers.

Most of Apple die-hard fans will not believe it, but soon their beliefs will get the desired jolt when their sleek machine will show its true colors. We are not saying that all players accompany problems, but the respect the product carry today in the market definitely raise consumers' expectations and when they are not met they feel cheated.
