We just stumbled upon two very interesting and contradicting articles that show two distinct sides of the celebrated Macbooks. Gary Krakow advocates Apple’s MacBook as the world’s best laptop, whereas analysts at the unofficial apple weblog claim that 20 per cent of MacBooks of their readers are discolored.



However, as Ryan Block rightly says, we cannot judge a product’s value by voting just a few people. Nevertheless, if the Apple white, that in fact attracts many users, is really loosing its sheen, the giant, no doubt, is having a serious problem and Apple has to take concrete steps at the earliest to get rid of the thorn. We doubt, if anyone had ever faced the same problem with the iPod, than what’s wrong with the Mac?



Even if we keep aside the discoloring issue, the MacBook are certainly one of the world’s best machines, especially when it’s now compatible with Windows OS too and anyway, we go after performance and the MacBooks have whetted our appetites in that respect, isn’t it.
