There is always an air of excitement surrounding the IFA. It is that time of the year when gadget-makers lock horns in a bid to showcase a “better product.” For techies like us, it is certainly a visual treat. iRiver is apparently re-launching the stunning P20 media player, in addition to a portable GPS navigator, the M3. During its debut at CES 2008, the P20 was just a plastic prototype. It is expected that IFA 2008 will see the launch of the actual 80/120GB media player. The gadget will use iRiver’s SPINN user interface, which allows you to toggle songs with an analog wheel. The media player will feature a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen, DMB TV, Bluetooth 2.0 as well as Flash 2.0 gaming. The M3 GPS Navigator, with a 3.5-inch touch screen LCD, is also expected to incorporate a media player. Further details will be available on 29th, when the show gets underway.
