iReal personal mobility vehicle reaches Japanese airport

Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Jun 30 2009

We were unreal to iReal coming true, when the personal mobility vehicle was first introduced by Toyota. However, the prototypes come real and the high-tech commuters have made it to the Japanese airports to assist staff and security guards to patrol about. Four iReal movers have been instated at the Chubu Airport in Tokoname City, while three of them would be used by the security staff, the forth embedded with medical kit, including a defibrillator, and a PC will be used by passenger assistance staff. Employing three-wheeled chairs that reach speeds of15km/h and run 30km on single charges, maybe a great way to modernize the space on the airport, but because humans can do the same job more efficiently, and static terminals can serve the same purpose more resourcefully, I kind of haven’t understood the actually reason to have the iReals there.
