The new WiFi iPod will combine the embedded PortalPlayer PP5022 with CSR’s UniFi Wi-Fi chip and BlueCore Bluetooth chip. The wireless connectivity will allow the media player to work in sync with a PC and other devices enabling downloading and streaming of content from the Internet.
