It’s bizarre that people have time to brood on this kinda crap and even go as far as to sue a company just because they can’t resist sucking the best out of it, even when they know that it poses serious health hazards.
Apple iPod’s sound levels have triggered the war fuel by health experts and consumers who’ve faced an irreversible hearing loss. Not only iPod, all other music systems that have option of streaming music via in-ear headphones poses the same risk.
The long term use of headphones especially with high sound levels can make you permanently deaf, as per research conducted by the National Institutes of Health. Apple is already facing a lawsuit in California alleging the iPod can damage hearing.
iPod can generate more than 115 decibels and that’s killing for the listener. But who the hell suggest you to pump it up to the full. The problem is in fact with the users, sans grey cells, who love bungee jumping but don’t want to use the cord.
