Ipevo Kaledio R7 Photo Frame transfers photos wirelessly

We hear of at least one new digital photo frame each day, and this keeps us guessing: what is different about this new one? They are all the same in price, design and are just so familiar in features. To break the jinx, we did see the UbiSync PC, a Samsung photo frame which doubled as a mini monitor. But we are back to the run of the mill stuff, with the Ipevo Kaledio R7 digital photo frame. Supporting an ordinary 512 MB internal space, the only added attribute is that it carries a remote control to organize the picture, and also houses Wi-Fi facility – so you maniacs don’t have to run around for SD cards, on the contrary, directly access the photos from your PCs and other places where you have your photos stored.

Price and Availability:

Though there isn’t a word on the actual price or availability, it is expected that the Ipevo Kaledio R7 could retail between $199 and $249.

Watch This:

Photo frames could be a perfect gift for a festive season, so we recommend the Ipevo Kaledio R7, but you will have to wait for the next season with this, because the picture frame is only expected to debut at CES in January ’09. Its decent facility of storing about 5,000 photos, Mac and PC compatibility and remote control could be an advantage to all freaky grannies’ out there, however.

Word around the web:

Brenda Stokes from Slashgear says:

A remote control is included so you can organize and make playlists out of your photos for customized displaying.
