iPad Verzion MiFi hackjob not for the faint hearted !
Thus far iPad had to bear the software hacking brunt to achieve ultra resourceful functionality. That was good enough to excite the iPad fanatics, but this is a hardware hack in a league of its own. One daring hacker split-open his 3G iPad to shove-in a Verzion MiFi circuit board chip doubled up with an AT&T antenna (in the iPad itself) for hotspot range. To accommodate the extra hardware he had to remove some of the GPS components, and the microSIM slot was also not needed after this hack. Now for those who aren’t that acquainted with the iPad, this hack turns your Apple pie into a WiFi hotspot, which iPad users have been longing for a long time. For me the hack is very resourceful, but a bit too hard to handle, what about you?

IMPORTANT: Clearly this kind of hardware tampering voids all Apple warranty requirements, and the hack is a bit complex in nature. I would advice you to go through with the step-by-step tutorial only if you are aware about the complications that may crop-up. Moreover, I’m in no-way responsible if you brick your Apple iPad in the process.
