Iomega Corporation has rolled out an external hard drive that offers you a 500 GB storage space. This hard drive is a successor of Iomega MiniMax Desktop Hard Drive USB 2.0/FireWire with same features but double the storage space. The drive features a three-port USB 2.0 hub, three FireWire ports, a smart power switch that powers up and down in accordance with Mac mini and an interactive cooling system with thermal probe that automatically regulates fan speed.
The compact drive measures just 6.5 inches square and 2 inches tall and can enhance the storage capacity of your Apple Mac mini. It has a sufficient 8MP cache to speedup the performance and 7200-RPM speed for data access.
The drive can be reformatted to configure with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Home or Professional and is now available at a price of $279.95.
