Interactive music system unveiled by Beamz Interactive

The E3 Expo was witness to the unveiling of an innovative interactive music player from Beamz Interactive. The new and improved music system features a sleeker design accompanied by four laser beams that trigger 12 different instruments, music clips, sound effects and vocals. It is all triggered when you pass your hands through the beams. Each beam is able to control a pre-programmed instrument, rhythm and maybe even a sound, so that users can not only listen to music, but also create their own while they do so. The Beamz player comes with 50 top-hit jams, original Beamz songs and five popular music videos. It also features the ShadowBeamz interactive game, allowing the users to have more fun. And, it really doesn’t matter if you are 17 years old or 100, the Beamz player is suitable for people of all the ages.

A computer with the help of an USB port powers it. Easy to install and easy to use, you can arrange and create the music differently every time you play a song. The variations that manifest are due to the different ways in which you play the light. The songs that you create on this interactive player can be saved directly onto the computer in wave file (*.wav) or as a Windows Media file (*.wma) format. As you know you receive 50 songs in the player, but in order to make your experience even better, the Beamz website offers the collection of over 100 songs. All you have to do is select the song and once you do, it is your choice to either listen to it or re-arrange by passing your hands through the beams. You can also experience the music video actively by adding a sound effect while it is playing with the help of beams, controlling pre-programmed instruments, rhythm and sounds. And, as far as the game is concerned, it challenges players to mimic prompted cues of when to break the beams. As players you can advance up to three levels. It will be available for purchase beginning August 1, 2010 for $199.95
