Interactive air guitar T-shirt you can actually play
I often find my hands stationed incognito as if I was playing a guitar, every time I hear a Hendrix or Joe Satriani music, do you have a similar tendency? Well, we have a better reason to catch the fix now; this in shape of a special T-shirt that’ll let us actually play air guitar, without the six strings and an amp. Designed by Warren Fauvel and Luke Khan the interactive T-shirt for people playing air guitar won a technology award at the annual SXSW music and technology festival in Austin, Texas.

Using barcode and webcam the T-shirt becomes a musical instrument that’s fun for all players. The T-shirt is embedded with barcode technology, which is recognized by a webcam on the computer when the player actions to play the guitar, in process passing over the symbols that make notes – and then player scores points when the notes are strummed in time as the user plays – fantastic eh!
