Quad core chips are always considered to do great things in less time. But the main use of these super fast chips is only in the gaming world as no software developer has yet come up with a product that can fully exploit the computing power of these chips.
Intel is showing off how the machines with the integrated Quad-Core chips perform while playing games at the Palomar Hotel in San Francisco. The competition was won by the machine that is pictured.
The machine features two Quad-Core Xeon Chips. This computing speed does not come easy as the motherboard alone costs around $500 and the chips are priced at $1,000 each so that makes the setup a $2,500 machine and that too without a RAM and some other hardware.
This surely will excite AMD and we can say that we will be seeing a much better machine in the coming days.
