Overnight alternation has begun to take up a face of quest among chip-making business.

Worldwide leader in microprocessor architecture, Intel is again preparing to hit the market with world’s first high-volume 45nm processor. It may be available next year to serve high-end users with most advanced high power capabilities contained in small feature size.

Accelerating the speed of next generation silicon technology, CEO Paul Otellini demonstrated industry’s first working 32-nanometer chip. It will house more than 1.9 billion high k-gate transistors for better-integrated memory system.

As a code name for upgraded version of 45 nm chip, Penryn will be ready to rock your processing capacity next year along with Silverthorne family.

Surely it’s going to be special as it’s quick path Interconnect system paves the way for improved communication links between internal system components.

Right now, during Intel Developer Forum, Otellini anxiously described his plan to introduce 15 new 45-nm processors by the end of the year and 20 in the first quarter of 2008.

However, Intel is not running this race alone. Big names Like, IBM has agreed to team up for joint development of 32-nm semiconductor production technology.

We may hope Intel to introduce processors built on 32nm with technology in 2009.
