Intels’ gift: Slimmed down notebooks and dual-core atom processors for your everything

Intel introduced at Computex the notebooks, which have been slimmed down to halve, which means these notebooks are only slightly thicker than your iPhones. This has been done with the help of their canoe lake innovation platform, applying thermal cooling for pine trail notebooks rather than using fans. On the other hand, the dual-core atom processors are slated to be part of products, which will be delivered in time for your holidays. However, these developments are not free from some disappointments too. Firstly, the slimmed down notebooks are just reference designs, which means that you will have to wait for quite some time before you actually lay your hands on them. Secondly, as far as processors are concerned, these will not be more powerful than the processors in your notebook right now. So, in this case, guys at Intel need to think of some solutions, but as far a notebooks are concerned, they might as well hurry up.
