Intelligence Toilet analyzes everything from body vitals to pee
The toilet is the first place we visit every morning, we spend so much time on it still it’s nothing more than a tarnished name. But imagine if that early morning visit to the toilet gave you an instant health check-up. This is exactly what the newly developed "intelligence toilet" from Toto in Japan does. Designed for the housing company Daiwa House, the toilet analysis users’ urine and measures blood pressure and body temperature, the high-tech toilet also features a built-in floor scale which comes in handy to measure weight. Priced at anywhere between $4,100 to $5,850, the toilet stores data of up to five different people and displays the analyzed vitals on a wall-mounted screen each time the person answers nature's call. A convenient creation for patients and the elderly, the intelligence toilet also automatically transfers data to a personal computer which can then be emailed to the doctors for further reference.
