Addressing the needs of elementary schools, Intel is out there with its new classmate PC at CES that will offer more natural as well as a spontaneous classroom environment to students across the world. Presenting the 180-degree swivel design, rotational camera and touchscreen, the new PC flaunts a flexible design, based on the Intel Atom processor, turning the tablet mode into a clamshell within no time. The Classmate PC also features a 60GB, 4200-RPM Samsung hard drive and comes with a 1024x600 resolution and battery life of 3.3 hours for the four-cell battery and 5 hours for the six-cell. Moreover, the convertible Classmate is very compact and just weighs 2.8 lbs.
