Why should you buy an Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo processor?
First things first, try not to drool over the specifications of this new, soon-to-be released processor by Intel. When pitted against the processors of some of the other companies, the Core 2 Duo E6750 comes out with flying colors.

And why not, the E6750 will be Intel's second fastest Core 2 Duo processor in its new line-up of 1333MHz FSB processors. Sitting pretty at the top of Intel's new lineup, this processor might establish Intel's supremacy in the processor market once and for all.
Here are some reasons to buy this processor when it is released.
First, the new E6750 has a higher bus speed than it's previous models. How fast is the new bus? The bus speed has jumped from 1066 to 1333 MHZ, which is remarkable.

Second, the bus is also a quad pumped front side one. What does this mean? This basically means it will be possible to exchange packets of data at a much shorter time span. In a quad pumped processor, four signals can travel per clock cycle.
Third, Intel makes the E6750 sound even better when it talks about almost 4GHZ processor chip with stock air-cooler and lot of extra room for over-clocking. The micro architecture of this processor makes this a reality. Minutely carved 6750 compatible motherboard allows plenty of room for the heat to escape even if the processor gets overclocked.
Fourth, core 2 has an awesome memory subsystem performance. This makes the new processor ready for handling synthetic memory bandwidth and latency benchmarks.
The only drawback this processor has the inability to drop the multiplier below 6X. Correct this, and the processor might come close to an absolute perfection. This issue came up after a bunch of games were played with this processor. Graphics intensive games like Supreme Commander revealed this flaw.
This was just a sneak peak at the Dual Core2 E6750 processor. Even with this drawback, Intel's newly researched processor will outperform Athlon and Celeron. I can't wait for this processor to get out in the market. Competitors are surely in for a tough time.
