Intel rolls out the Eduwise PC
Apparently, MIT's $100 laptop has triggered the philanthropic mood of the giants to bring technology at the doorsteps of people who actually need it and also to bring the global community together. Augmenting the cause, Intel has unveiled its latest Eduwise notebook for developing nations.

Paul Otellini, Intel Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer, said:
We're close to achieving Andy Grove's vision of a billion connected PCs and the economic, social and personal gains that come with them. Our job now is to harness the combined potential of full-featured technology, high-speed connectivity and effective education to speed the gains for the next billion people and the next billion after that.Indeed, the low-cost notebook will whet the thirst of aspiring tech geeks round the globe. Otellini declared to provide Eduwise PCs to 300,000 teachers in Mexico.
The whole 'project', in fact, aims at spreading the latest technology and also training teachers and students in the real sense. Eduwise notebook is designed to cater daily tasks of students and teachers allowing them to quickly analyze performance of students, take tests, give presentations, note taking and doing simple tasks with wireless pen attachements.
