It does take long to realize a product at times. The Mobile Internet Device which BenQ showcased almost a year back has finally made way to reach the “ultimate hand of use.” The BenQ MID S6 featuring a 4.8-inch high-resolution touchscreen to display the entire webpage, lives as a small pocket-sized device with an Intel Atom CPU embedded inside. The comprehensive MID also includes a 3.5G and a Wi-Fi connection for easy connectivity. To be made available in Taiwan, the BenQ MID S6 uses Windows XP Home Edition as the OS and has VoIP built in. It also functions as a digital photo frame.
