Intel Macs run Windows faster than comparable PCs

With the introduction of Boot Camp Apple has bridged the performance gap and I'd say is now ready to rout others standing on the same platform with trembling legs.

As Rich Brown says, the Intel-based Apple computers are faster than comparable systems and they've proved it too.
Proof:
Windows XP Pro running on a 2.0GHz iMac Core Duo, processed the Photoshop test in less than half the time it took with the same system running OS X 10.4.5: 2 minutes, 49 seconds vs. 6 minutes, 30 seconds to be exact, or a difference of 57 percent.
Also, as per more comparison test done with Photoshop including Pentium D 830-based PCs from Dell and Gateway, the iMac Core Duo with Windows emerged a winner.
