Intel’s yet to make an arrival in the tablet arena, but we’d expected them to come up with mesmerizing innards for such devices – and that is exactly what the manufacturer has revealed. According to Intel’s Client VP Mooly Eden, Intel-based tablet device would be on the way as early as Computex next month. Intel would be designing silicon for this category of devices to actively participate in the market as a real alternative to the Apple iPad and other such devices coming soon from Dell, Google, HP and the others. There’s not much we know on the design aspect but it’s learnt that the prospective tablet would feature a dual-core processor besides using a host of Operating Systems including Windows 7, Linux, Android and Chrome (nothing certain). The tablet could feature multi-tasking which can be guessed with Eden pointing out the parallel processing power of the Intel chips that would be used inside.
