Instablogs Community Launches Today

We are pleased to launch the Instablogs Community that focuses on 'Bringing bloggers and readers closer'. The Instablogs Community empowers the readers with an array of social tools and makes them a part of the blogging process in actual. In short, the new version reflects the 'Citizen Journalism' in its true sense where writers and readers are communicating actively.

Every reader can enjoy a personalized experience at the Instablogs Community. To ensure the ease of readers, it has been divided into seven sections named Reading Room, Newsroom, Community, MyBlog, Organize, Socialize, and Personalize.

How is this all going to help many of the geeks like you who are interested in gadgets more than anything? Well, the Instablogs Community is divided into 16 channels and you can opt out from the channels that are not of your interest. Suppose you are interested in reading the news from 'Gadgets' channel and the 'Technology' channel and don't want to read the news in other channels. You can use the 'Manage Channels' tool, which you will find below the channels list in the side-bar to select the two desired channels and opt out from other 14 channels. Next time, when you will open the home page, you will find only two channels of your interest i.e. the 'Gadgets' and the 'Technology'. Isn't that great guys?

To become a member of the Instablogs Community, you simply need to sign up. The process is quite simple. After you become an Instablogs member, you will be assigned an auto-built personalized blog called 'MyBlog' where all the stories submitted by you are stored. You can post whatever you want to and even import your existing blogs feed.
