InPhase intros 300GB holographic disks

While the 3.5-inch HDD reaching storage capacities of 1TB, InPhase is now shipping its 300GB holographic disks.

These 1.5mm disks will reach 1.6TB by 2010 according to the company.
These disks promise a lifespan of 50 years and offer transfer rate of 20MBps.
The company already has started receiving some high end customers that include Turner Broadcasting, US Geological Survey and Lockheed Martin.
The company is also planning a rewriteable version of the disks for next year.
These holographic disks will put you down by $180.
