iNo tests you on your iPod collection

As you groove to the tunes that you have so conscientiously stuffed up your iPod’s memory, just take a step back and ask yourself if you really know your music inside out. That was only a warning and if you won’t do it, iNo will do it for you in a couple of months. Flair (better known for the Sylvanian Family toys) has created a game for iPod called iNo. (Maybe they meant iKnow, but what the hell, this is clearly more hip.) The game actually consists of a round device with speakers, which – in the fashion of a toaster – has a groove to place your iPod in. After this is done, iNo will use the MP3 player to churn out questions after the music in your collection. Up to four players can play at a time with four remote control buzzers. Just as a tune starts to play, player is required to press the buzzer and name it (or the artist or the album); obviously the one who does this the fastest wins. Players can pop the iPod out to check if the answer is correct. And if you are thinking of mugging up the entire list then iNo will prevent any cheating by playing tracks at random. iNo will hit shelves later this year in the UK and will be available in black, white or pink, at an expected price tag of £59.99.
