The camera identifies individuals based on the body temperature (hotter than normal), whereby, the suspected ones can be pulled out aside and questioned before being medicated by the Narita doctors or referred to the nearest hospital for routine tests. This infrared camera technology has potential and can be used in many other applications to understand body temperatures to initiate treatment. But would this intervention create a ruckus with people in urgency to board flights? Thoughts?
