The device comprises two small acoustic sensors hocked to an internet connected PC. One of the microphone attached sensor is embedded to the pregnant mother’s womb and the other is attached further up in the womb, while the former keeps tap on the baby’s heartbeat the latter picks up the ambient and bodily noise. The noise subtracted sound (with help of software) is then converted into WAV or MP3 file, depending on the requirement of the analysis.

The team of scientist have tested the device on different ladies in different stages of pregnancy, and have been found the results helpful, without any trouble to the mother or the child.
