E-readers seem to be the latest electronic mania, with iRiver Japan planning an e-reader of their own, adding to the ever-escalating number. Just post an announcement of the Kindle e-book reader by Amazon, and the rumors of the Kindle 3 with a touchscreen looming great, and many other manufacturers seem to be taking the e-reader’s route, quite evident thus with the iRiver claims.
No definite word on what the device would actually be equipped with, or when the world could expect to lay its hands on the iRiver make, but what’s eventually factual is that the e-reader would be capable of dealing with PDFs and would also feature a SD card slot. Guaranteeing compatibility with a host of music files the reader would too have a joystick control system. We are waiting to see this come alive, are you?
