iKey has added new products to its lineup of industrial keyboards. The USP of this lineup of membrane keyboards is its ability to withstand the roughest of usage in the harshest of environments. iKey membrane keyboards come with hardcoated, textured, polyester film claiming to be more rugged than industrial silicone rubber keypads. These keyboards also incorporate an integrated Synaptics touchpad, hence eliminating any need of a mouse. The mechanical snap-dome keys are slightly raised to facilitate use.

The iKey membrane series has three models: a desktop one, a panel mount model and an OEM model. The latter comes with an OEM kit that allows it to be integrated into industrial machinery. Would that in any way hamper the working of the keyboard? Well, the answer is no since the slick and strong membrane surface is specially designed to withstand direct hose water, disinfectants, contaminants and so on and so forth. An easy cleanup feature means that you can just spray the accumulated stuff down and the keyboard will be clean again. Coffee spills are a child’s play for iKey Membrane Keyboard.
