IKEA is a well known international retailer that deals in modern, stylish and low-priced products like furniture, accessories for bathrooms and kitchens. Kelly at Unplggd says that on her recent visit to Seatlle IKEA, she spotted a unique device, the Ikea Mobile. That can sync with a mobile phone using text messages and bar codes. It sounds cool as this sort of technology can be used to make purchasing a lot easier, but it seems that IKEA (or their device) is not yet ready for that sort of commitment. As of now, it is only offering access to discount coupons and specials.
