Ideum, a creative and interactive system developer, has launched MT55 HD - a Multi Touch table. The multi touch table with the capacity of responding to 32 points of touch at a single time has lent a new shape to interactivity.

The table comprises of a 55-inch diagonal HD screen, which has LED-backlit 1080 pixel display. The table works with the help of integrated HP computer. The computer specifications include 2.93 GHz, quad-core i7 CPU and an nVidia Quadro 600 workstation-class video 3D card. The table is programmed to work with all touch devices. The list just doesn’t end there, the Ideum creation also boasts of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Additionally, it also bears Ethernet for further connecting.
Interactivity of the table is not limited to touch though, the table has inbuilt Bose speakers. It is made even more efficient by making it capable of producing mirror output via HDMI. MT55 HD functions on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit edition. To make it more user friendly, the device is preloaded with GestureWorks software, which would assist the first time users in easily amalgamating with Flash and Flex.
The body structure stands on aluminum and steel mostly. A tempered glass top measuring 5mm wide supports the screen. The screen is 3” thick and the table stands tall at 31”. With a battery backup and cooling function incorporated in the design, there would never be a moment of worry. For security issues, the design includes a lockable cabinet that would protect computer and its other components.
