IBM has decided to earn some extra money by entering into military and law enforcement business with its "Smart Surveillance System," or S3.

As the name suggests the new system is smart enough to keep a check on any unwanted activities in sensitive areas. The system is able to record video feeds and analyze the information gathered, sounding an alarm when it "identifies suspicious activity.
IBM has plans to install its system at US-Mexico border and has been negotiating with the federal government. The best feature of the system is that it can index and search videos based on specific objects and/or actions.
Well its success can just be judged after it is brought into field application, but if its good it will surely take over the Texan cams currently functional at US-Mexico border.
