Hunslet Club youngsters create robot out of spares

Today's world nurtures young minds beyond our imagination. The Hunslet Club teen men have given a proof of this by creating a robot out of sheer waste cap scraps. The vocational trainees at the Club, in Leeds, have rolled out an adult sized robot made from spare engine parts. Inspired by the metallic giants in the movie Transformers, the motor mechanic students put their skills to test and ended up creating a six foot robot that accommodates various engine parts.

The venture was not without its part of challenges. The most sensational and demanding matter was to decide which part would make the robot fit at its best. Making the steel man stand straight was another mammoth task. But agreeably all these nuances were taken good care of by the budding motor mechanics.

These students were inspired by their tutor, Wayne Long, who guided them throughout. This creation is regarded as an achievement of today's youth who can reach any limit by their wisdom. This unique presentation is remarkably praised by both the experts in scientific as well as artistic fields.

The Hunslet Club runs vocational classes and activities for a diverse age group ranging from 4 to 18. The activities pursued include training in football, dancing, boxing, gymnastics, drama and fitness and hair and beauty.
