Being a gadget geek and a writer, it’s rarely that I am impressed with intimate relationships of people with those artificial partners...Yaaaak! Exactly! This is what I feel about people getting mushy in the dark corners of their room with those sex toys. But, this isn’t entirely about sex, rather I would borrow Dr. David Levy’s concept, stating robots as suitable marriage partners.
The ever-increasing spree of robots is gripping humanity; dependence on our mechanical friend is leaping over the walls of toil, sending us deeper in the quick sand of lethargy. Thinking how far the nuptial bonding with these human miniatures would be successful, I am uncertainly.
Though, people would get the option of installing the desired features in his/her (robotic) partner so as to minimize the emotional clashes leading to divorce and other family hazards. For men the main advantage I see is the Fem-bots, that would be exactly like human female, but you could press the “off” button if it started to nag you or got very emotional.
