Humanoid robot does honeyed lip singing with matching facial expressions

The Japanese take their fascination for robots to another high with a singing robot dubbed as HRP-4. The newest bot does all the honeyed lip singing with matching facial expressions by watching and doing method. The mellifluous recital is delivered using two specially devised programs. The first called Vocal listener enables the machine to watch and synthesize the notes while the second algorithm named Voca watcher imitates facial expressions to make the performance more lifelike. Pretty much impressive!
