If you are heading to Japan any time soon, then you must visit the Clone Factory. Now relax! It’s not the kind of sci-fi place where you would imagine going in as one person and coming out with three different versions of you. Given the serious debate all around on the controversial subject of human cloning, that is far from happening today.

But what does happen at the clone factory is that you are photographed in numerous ways using multiple SLR cameras. These digital cameras, some you find mounted even on the ceiling help capture all your measurements and statistics, which are then fed into a kind of supercomputer that creates a kind of 3-D profile or model of your face if pleased.
Then a mammoth printer called ZPrinter 650 prints a plaster cast of your face, on special trays of containing thick plaster. However, like a normal printer it also uses ordinary colored ink cartridges. The clones are then printed using layers of this ink which immediately hardens on contact with plaster. Once done, the plaster tray looks unchanged on the top, but dig a bit deeper and you can find your toy clone.
This clone is then thoroughly cleaned of the remaining powdery plaster, in another specially designed machine that shoots powerful jets of air on the model to brush it and clean all its nook and crannies. This process requires taking place in an enclosed dedicated machine, since inhaling even a bit of that loose plaster can be dangerous to our health. This cloned product is then covered with a sort of a top coat. The final cloned product is called Jibun-san, it means “Me”.
Interestingly, the factory claims to have a device called a SEU95 (Soul Expulsion Unit) that once inserted in your back or frontal orifice, believe it or not, momentarily ejects the soul from the body for 0.955756 seconds. They claimed the fact, because the ancient 'Mayan Civilization' believed that one soul should not exist in same time and place.
Clone factory seems to have become a huge rage in Japan where people are using the services of this factory to preserve memorable events in their lives, such as marriage, in plastic. The best part is that they can clone any and every solid object and secondly, you can get your toy clone to wear any dress, costume or accessory. Are you interested in booking a cloning session in advance for 138,000 Yen and live your fantasies through your new clone.
