Hubble has become the first telescope ever to set the record of spying a galaxy 13 billion light years away, which is the most distant galaxy ever seen. A team from the European Southern Observatory operating the Very Large Telescope array in Chile determined the distance of galaxy UDFy-38135539. The Hubble telescope was able to peer deep into the cosmos with its upgraded infrared camera land image a very deep region of the universe. It’s the result of the follow-up measurements that the team of astronomers determined that they’ve glimpsed the most distant object ever seen.
