Mobile Beat was a witness to the unveiling of HP’s flexible display. Having a low power profile, it is printed on Mylar and is similar to E-Ink. With full color, It can be crafted into nay size you want, even if that wanted size is 3.5 inch handset display. One more thing that has been hinted upon is the usage of mobile operating system, webOS in the handsets. However, the fact the HP will be making a flexible display and webOS powered handsets anytime sooner or no is not definite.

Everything said and done, HP’s foray into all things flexible is good, but like everything else, this flexible display is far from perfect. Leaving out the timing of the distant future part, the disply is neither durable nor there is manufacturing process for it so far. And, the colored part of the display too is not that tempting, taking in consideration almost all the displays offered are colored.
