The HP Elite L2201x offers a 21.5” x 0.4” display with LED backlighting, 1920x1080 resolution, defined by a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. This super slim HD viewing experience is uniquely designed by keeping the power supply external. Looks wise, the L2201x model is uncompromised with a unique black and white contrast achieved by platinum brushed metal finish on its traditional stand and borders to match the decor of professional office interiors. The display accessory nominally priced at $249 is, however, a fair slim deal for home as well as office users.

HP also introduced DataPass, which is an innovative way to enhance internet access for professionals or travelers who mostly have to depend on slower mobile internet options while on the move. The DataPass provides Sprint 3G data at rates which are dependent on the band width and time usage. The HP proposes the user pay just $5 for 75MB of data over five hours or $10 for 150MB for three days, while $20 affords 450MB for two weeks. A net $30 paid will provide 1GB for a full month usage. The company, however, plans to limit this new service only to the HP notebooks presently.
