HP’s cloud-based web-connected printers print anything, anywhere, anytime

The next evolution in printers would certainly be the web-connected printers, a claim put to reality with the announcement of the HP ePrint – a web connected and cloud-based printer from Hewett Packard. The main facet of the HP ePrint would be the printer’s ability to remotely store documents sent to the printer via any email device, and then print them from wherever they are in the world. HP has debuted OfficeJet, PhotoSmart and LaserJet divisions will come integrated with "print anywhere" capability and assigned e-mail address, which can be used to print directly from any web-connected device. Compatible content providers for the printers would include Yahoo and msnbc.com, while 4 new printers would debut with ePrint support. These include $199 HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One, $149 HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One, $99 HP Photosmart e-All-in-One and $299 HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One, all to debut latest by September this year.
