I don’t know how many of you’d be interested in this project, as it involves quite a bit of tinkering of your optical mouse, which of course today everybody carry. But for all those who want to see their desktop through the little eye at the bottom of their mouse, Jeroen is here with a simple way to turn it into it a nifty scanner.



The CCD embedded in the optical sensor of the mouse, actually, allows it to scan stuff with the help of software created either in Visual Basic or Linux, as per your expertise.
