The remote control has armed us with enough power to control simple and complex machines, and other nifty gadgets such as TV-B-Gone has moved a step further, enabling us to control the remote controls themselves, but up to a limit. The project aims to extend the limit with the help of Sniper that allows you to control a TV from beyond the reach of any normal remote control.



With the help of Sniper, you can turn off your neighbor’s television or audio system and play other pranks. All you need is a simple television remote control such as TV-B-Gone or Ninja Remote/TV Wizard and a pair of binoculars to project the infrared rays from your remote control, that’s all. You can get the desired effect by creating Sniper with a couple of simple electronics for more perfection.
