If someone questions you ‘Would you like to buy one of these?‘ and your answer goes ‘ No, I would love to make it myself‘ and if you always have any do-it-yourself project with you, Kalanda gives you an opportunity to make a microscope of your own.

All you need to do is to simply get a lens that reads CDROM out of your CD or DVD player and a webcam. With the help of a cardboard and a tape, fix the lens to the webcam while the webcam lens is not removed. Owing to the short focal length, the lens is able to double. That’s it and you are ready with your new home-made microscope. No doubt, you won’t get the clarity like those of ready-made high-tech microscope, you still have your own microscope.

Isn’t the process so straightforward? So, why not try, and make a Microscope yourself?
