HOWTO: Make a screw defy gravity

Dan Serena's 'Levitating Screw' might not be as nifty a project as the Magnetic Floating Bed, however, it's a great tick to entertain your pals at parties. All you need to make this simple screw defy gravity are two strong magnets, a screw, a lime, a coil of copper wire, and a cup of salt water.

Check out the video to see how exactly the components are arranged and the screw spinning several inches above the copper wire. You can even play with the way the screw spins by changing the number of turns in the copper wire.
