Now this is magical, the touchless lightswitch created by Ryan Sturmer saves you from all that usual banging. The touchless lightswitch is powered by a capacitive sensor and can be created easily by tinkering with an old touch sensitive floor lamp and a bit of fiddling with the required software. Just make sudden moves in a close proximity to the sensor and see how it lightens up automatically.
