HOWTO: Build a solar generator using auto parts
No doubt, the demand for solar energy has fired up; however, the high price factor of setting up even a simple photovoltaic panel has thwarted the effort to actually trap the maximum freely available energy.

Anyway, affordable solar power might not remain a dream with this ultimate solar generator made out of auto parts. The inexpensive project, undertaken by, none other than, scientists at MIT, aims to deploy the facility to poor countries, that actually require these desperately. Orosz's solar generator system, first tested in South Africa, uses reflective parabolic troughs to trap solar energy and generate electricity. One can easily build the solar generator in a backyard sans any high technical knowledge.
