The Project
Till now, Google Android has been a revolutionary OS and its actual usage and potential is yet to be explored. The software has been successfully implemented in many handheld gadgets. Google has unveiled a live CD with the latest Android version for running it on any PC – no matter that Android has been installed in the system or not. The vision of our today's project will be to demonstrate Android OS on the Windows PC. This project encompass two procedures.

Difficulty Level
This would be an exciting challenge before you consisting of two different procedures:
1) The first approach is using a physical live CD, burning the Android OS image onto which is quite easy.
2) The second approach consist of using a virtual machine which is quite difficult.
Time required
In an aggregate some few minutes of time will be required to execute the operation.
Estimated cost
1) All you require to execute this project is a live CD released by Google.
2) After that you will be needing some other software's which can be downloaded for free.
Resources required
As mentioned above, you will be needing:
1. Live CD of android.
2. HJSPlit
3. Windows PC
4. Virtualization software
5. CD/DVD emulator
Method 1
The first procedure was burning Android OS onto Live CD.
Step 1: Visit the LiveAndroid web page and download the two sections of the .iso file from there.
Step 2: In the second step, integrate the two segments into a single one using HJSplit.
Step 3: After that, burn the resulting .iso image onto a blank CD using your favorite disc burning application.
Step 4:Assure that the CD-ROM drive is placed ahead of the HDD in the list of boot devices and then reboot your computer.
Step 5: Upload the Android Live CD, and here it is, Google Android operating system running on your computer.
Method 2
The second method is a little bit tedious then the first one, it includes running the Android OS on a virtual machine of your computer
Step 1: The first giant step will be to download the two sections of the .iso file from the LiveAndroid web page.
Step 2: Combine the two section into a single one using HJSplit.
Step 3: Download and install the virtualization software.
Step 4:The next step will be to download and install the CD/DVD emulator.
Step 5: Mount the LiveCD image into the CD/DVD emulator.
Step 6: Develop a new virtual machine using the virtualization software (it is recommended to allocate 256MB of RAM for this machine and a couple of hundreds of MB for HDD space).
Step 7: Inside the virtualization software, select the virtual drive on which the LiveCD image has been mounted as the boot drive.
Step 8: Initiate the virtual machine for getting a Android OS.

FAQS

Answer: Yes
2. Where to download live CD?
Answer: From Liveandroid webpage, and that to for no charge at all.
3. Is rebooting required for the second method?
Answer: No, not at all.
Quick Tips
1. Remember to follow the instructions carefully.
2. Download the live CD only from the liveandroid webpage.
Things to watch out for:
Kindly assure, to allocate 256MB of RAM for this machine and a couple of hundreds of MB for HDD space.
