Afroman has developed a system that can completely recharge a drained out 9V alkaline battery that you otherwise use and throw.

Afroman passed a very small 65mA current through a completely drained out 9V Duracell alkaline battery for a night and in the morning when he checked the current it was fully charged and his mission accomplished.

All you will need is some diodes and some resistors that you can easily get from a used appliance or can also purchase the, from a store. The total cost of the charger will not exceed more than 50 cents.

I would also like to warn you that Alkaline batteries can explode when charged and can cause injury and harm to you and your surroundings.

So if you still want to try this then its better to use a multimeter and constantly monitor the batteries and remove them from the home made charger once they reach to 110% of their rated voltage.
