HOWTO: Make wooden diving goggles

This DIY can really prove an artisan's experience. From previous wire and circuit mesh, it is a sober sculpture. Though it is engraved with 'hau' a wood in Hawaii, but a nonporous hardwood not likely to split may be used.

The rim that fits around the eye should be beveled carefully so that the pressure will be equal all around. The flesh will yield enough, if the wood is properly fitted, to form a watertight joint. Give the wood two or three coats of shellac all over.
No great understanding is required, even the picture is enough to guide you, so do try and make the fantacy alive.
