Today the ever-alive child in me couldn’t resist just sitting and writing about this amazingly luring animated bicycle wheels, but still I snatched out some time getting off my bicycle gears and mention the tip to you and add the missing zing to your bike and life.



Here we go. The Pac-Man wheels project is designed by Ladyada who mentions the technology behind it as a simple “persistence of vision”. The illusionary impact of an animated image is created when LEDs attached to the wheel spokes move fast. And you’ll emerge like a burning man out of the crowd in night. Approximately 30 LEDs are used on each side that runs on 2-3 AA or rechargable NiMH AA batteries for 10 hours or more.
