The Robotic F.A.C.E. is in fact a facial alerting system developed by, none other than, researchers Mark Newman and Stefan Marti at MIT Media Lab. The project aims to hack the head of a Yano doll and make it convey information by changing face patterns. The robotic face is controlled by a computer and is an incredible example of how computers can control physical objects leading to more friendly interaction between the man and the machine. Check out the video to see the funny faces in action.

Although, MIT's website carries all the details of the project, perhaps, you might find it hard to make it work the way you want. Still, try it, after all it's just a robot and we too are not novices, isn't it?
